Growing Up

Just a quick post.

Today was the first day of High School for Juliana. This involved a couple of hours at the school getting assigned a locker, receiving a schedule and having a pizza party with all the other new grade 9 kids. It also included having a speedy class photo taken. Due to this event our teenage daughter needed to go to the hairdresser yesterday to get her hair cut and straightened. I don’t want to be one of those dads that complains about how much it cost for women’s haircuts, but sweet baby Jesus I didn’t realize that you had to re-morgage your house  to pay for it!

Fortunately I decided to pull out the a couple of flashes and a small softbox to capture the before and after of the makeover.

And finally just to show that she is still a kid, and a total ham there is one final picture.

But the fact remains. Our beautiful baby girl is growing up.
