Way back in 1996 I made a calendar. It was a little black and white desk-topper with photos taken in Cambridge England, where we were living at the time. I had 255 of them printed for 5 pounds a piece, and sold them at the craft market for 20. It was great. Everybody loved it.\u00a0I never made another. I’m not exactly sure why, but the fact of the matter is, I didn’t.<\/p>\n

Fast forward to the summer of 2014 and while visiting my cousin in Calgary he brings up the calendar and how he still had it in a box of keepsakes. It meant that much to him. It made me proud, and sad at the same time. Why had I neglected to continue making these little keepsakes of my\u00a0years best images. I vowed to myself that this year I would undertake to make another. This time around though I only had 5 printed. A\u00a0few for friends and family and one for my cousin. These were the photos I chose, all taken in the past year. All, as the title suggest, were taken at the water’s edge.<\/p>\n
